Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I have been very tired every day lately, to the point of having to sleep in the middle of the day. I am getting eight hours of sleep at night, and usually go to bed at a decent time. I feel exhausted from the time I wake up in the morning until bed time. I think it may be a very pronounced symptom of some underlying depression. I noticed this evening that I'm too tired to even prepare a meal to eat. Even if I force myself to be active, I am fatigued while I'm doing it. Anyway, if I feel like this every day, I might as well not be here.

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.

I have been taking this medication for about a month and just found out it causes weight gain and tiredness among other negative effects. This tiredness and sleepiness is exactly what you describe. I am going to talk to my doctor about giving me a different medication. What it says is it helps you feel good about yourself! I need that but not the extreme fatigue and drowsiness.
I hope you can find what will help you with your energy loss problem and feel better. If you are depressed and are not on any medication your body may need a lot of sleep. And being on medications can make us sleep a lot too. It is kind of a no win situation but there should be way to solve this problem. Have you tried therapy? I hope you feel better.
Exercise helps me have more energy, even when I have none at first.
Swimming or water exercise helps me too, you might want to try that also.
Good luck. And thank you for responding to one of my posts.
Low vitamin D levels/ lack of adequate sunshine
Pollen levels--I know this sounds crazy but when the pollen levels
are up, my fatigue and depression go up.
Stress, lack of a good nights sleep.
Have you thought about contacting your doctor to rule
out any medical problems. I do know how you feel. Sometimes we just want to give up. But this will pass. Feel free to pm me.
Hang in there.
