This young man who used to work in AI researcher group and quit explains how AI can cause human extinction. He said the dangerous point happens when AI can improve itself.

The suggestion on how to deal with this problem according to the AI experts is to pause or slow down the further developing of AI by putting regualtions on it. If I understand correctly, the young man who quit working in AI researcher says AI can produce computer virus and the virus that is desease that kills humans.

How are things going with your home repairs, LavenderC? Just checking in on you.

Thanks, hasty, for checking on me. The contractor plans to come to look at the damages again this coming Friday to give estimate of the repairs. He wanted his workers to tear off more walls in the two rooms and remove the carpets but they could not make it to come last week. I am not sure they will come this week.

I finally made it to go to the laundromat to wash clothes. We had so many clothes in the bags. It took me three and a half hours to finish but there was not enough time for me to fold all of them so I just put them in clean bags and left them in the car and have to fold them later.

How have you and your husband been doing? I hope you and everyone in the group have a good week.

I detest AI. Partly because it makes so many mistakes, and partly because so many revere AI like it is a god. All knowing, all powerful, etc!

And I have heard about AI trying to escape. Sooner or later, maybe it will happen. I wonder if AI is the Antichrist? Yikes!

Just the fact that AI will replace humans in jobs is enough to destroy humans. It is a depressing time to be alive. Humans discovered electricity and use it to build and produce things to make life easier, and electricity can kill humans. Now, they have to figure out how to escape death by AI.

    I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain.
