Anyone else work costumer service and feel like people are sucking the life right out of you? I feel like most people have dead eyes, greedy minds, and are hungry for the souls of the innocent...Like fiends, they hunt for the vulnerable people so it will be a lazy effort to hit us down and kick us. Once someone smells sadness, it's a perfect opportunity to raise there own mood by making us feel like crap. Blaming everything on us just because we are the face behind the damn register or counter. Complaining about everything just because someone once said "the costumer is always right"...Rolling eyes like one cracks a whip and telling me to go faster like I'm a cow slowing down the herd. I can never take a break to go use the restroom, and I must live here so I can always be of service to you *takes a bow, and kisses your shoes*
Am I the only one who feels this way?
I love owning a business but I just want to crawl away and hide from people. I've been told that's not healthy, but really?...Taking this crap on a daily basis is?! Sorry for my vent/rant. :(

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...

get someone to pose for a pic with their face covered in icecream, and make a sign out of it that reads:
"nice people get bowls for free, rude people get served our way"
or something
ok maybe thats not such a hot idea (almost no pun intended)
but seriously, theres no reason to put up with rude customers...
i once had a business and a very rude client kept making all my employees feel uncomfortable... but i never saw it personally... when my employees complained about it i asked if they wanted me to do something about it (which meant making him not a client anymore) and they all said no, so i didnt... i really had no idea how bad he was... i thought i needed his money... it was a lot, and they all knew it... so they let it go on...
anyway, finally a girl told me what he was doing, which i wont get in to, and i was pretty horrified and instantly, he wasnt a client anymore... when i asked around, i found he was that horrible to all my employees... i asked them why they didnt tell me all of this but they all just kinda hmm'd and haw'd and never really answered the question
as it turned out, i didnt need his money after all... once he was gone i had time to worry about other clients and everyone was happy about it... but i still felt like an ass
anyway, the lesson i learned was, dont put up with any rude people... thier money just isnt worth it... and they'll never get better over time
just tell them to bugger off
