Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
My parents raised my brothers and I with a sense of pride in who we were and it sticks with us to this day. After two weeks of not speaking to my best friend after she said F.U. to me, she texted. She said she thought I quit my job at the school we work at because she was being a bitch. I did not quit my job. We texted for a long time, like nothing happened except I was guarded with what I said. Yesterday morning, I woke up with a sick feeling. I am still mad at her for that and a few other times that she was nasty to me. I definitely have had a change of heart about her. I've also had a change of heart about my Aunt in the nursing home and another friend who yells at me, puts me down and picks on me. That friend wants to resume working out together and I am going to tell her that I prefer working out alone. I am lying on my loveseat, listening to excellent music, enjoying my own company. I am usually more forgiving but old anger and hurts are popping up and I am out of forgiveness.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I need to do that. I just wrote about my sister and how much it bothers me.
They have the problem not us.
Glad you are taking time to let this go.
So I’ve journaled about this before.
I’ve come home and cried from family events when my kids were young.
