Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
When I was little, my family attended Church and I never felt a spark of God or even a feeling of comradery in the church. When I was 13 I realized I wanted to be Jewish and I still do! Hello- I am new to the group
I worry that you are vulnerable. You stated in a previous post that you miss an aunt who died before you were born. It seems very clear that you are looking for something; please be sure that a change of faith is what you are looking for, and that it is not just something you have encountered that appears to be solid. Knowing what you are running from can be easy, but learning what you are running to can be very hard.
Gentle hugs
Maybe if you present it as an social exploration more than "Born-Again" event?
