sorry Jack.. you need to remember though that the ones that are arseholes and bully are the ones that are nothing when they get out of school. It is usually their own securities that make them like they are.. They are insecure and try to act tough.. But it is very mean and foolish..

bullyng has always existed. I agree it is wrong! Growing up, we were the "light" kids!!!I saw my oldest son going through this crap in school.

Moved my youngest out of the city for the same reasons.

A girl chased after me with scissors, determined to cut my hair! I would have taken those scissors, and chopped her!!

Got away from her then, but we had another go! No weapons....just us! Beat her like a bad habit!!!

I had to fight bullies, and went wild as I needed to to win! I swung bookbags filled with dictionaries! Knocked out teeth!!

I beat up boys, girls...got in so much trouble at home when parents complained I hurt their children.

I was never the aggressor....But I never backed away from any bully.

I grew up in places you would never want to raise your children.

Yes, I was bullied. I stopped getting bullied when I won a fight as a sophmore in high school, but it didn't completely go away. Not until I went to college and was perceived as being big and strong.
The said part of it is that my ex-wife was bullied a lot too and now, my oldest son gets bullied some. The 1st part of the last 2 yrs. we had to extensively deal with the school to try and solve my son's problem being bullied.
It's sad, and when will it ever stop??

my kids seem to be having an ok time as well....with the exception of my youngest....he finishes the fights that bullies start.....and then HE gets in trouble.

I'm not havin it I tell ya!
I am not gonna punish my child for turning it around on the asshole bullies.
As long as he isn't starting fights or bullying others, we'll be ok.

I was bullied on one occasion only by a so-called friend when I was approx 14
Out of the blue she pulled my hair so hard that I was down on the ground!!!!
I was baffled to know WHY??????
But that was the only time, thank God

i wasn't bullied and i tried to fight for the ones who were being bullied and i still do that today. i was a part of the in crowd but i had friends of all kinds and when some of the in crowd told me i couldn't be friends with some of the others i did it anyway just to make them mad.i was picked on because i didn't care what color religion or any other belieifs were. id i like you i liked you.i quit cheerleading in my senior year because i woke up and realized what it was all about. love you mean and i mean that!!!!LOL!!

Well,..I got bullied once when I attended 7th grade,.our school went from 7th to 12th grade,..I had just gotten my gym keys,..and was walking to my locker,.when this 10th grader grabbed my keys,.pulled my hair,.and slapped me across the face,.while her friends watched and laughed,.I went home crying,..to my sister,..who was a senior at the same school,..well,..my sis,.and her friends,..had a 'talk' with this 10th grader,...lol,..and she never bothered me again,...

yes i was bullied for years... they used to beat me up, and say the nastiest of stuff.. like i had a brother who died when he was 16 and i was 14 and they used to say that i should have been in the ground with him rotting with the worms.

I was teased allot as a kid about my name cause it was so unusual, but now i can say im glad i was different. I wouldn't want it any other way. I also think i am a nicer person for it, but i hated it when i was a kid i had a real hard time dealing with it. My daughter gets bullied here cause she is from another country and it makes me soooooo angry i could scream. I tell her concentrate on your school work, do well, those people wont get anywhere in life with an attitude like that. I know when i was in school most of the bullies are bald and overweight now, some are in prison and have 5 kids- so hey..whos laughin now? sucka's

yes I was bullied. It was terrible I still remember it as if it was yesterday. My son was being bullied and we went to the principal and it got straightened out.

I was...it started in the fifth grade after I had ear surgery, and went back to school after 2 weeks with a big bald spot behind my ear where they had to remove skin to graft over my eardrum, and of course the scar; someone started a rumor that it was brain surgery and I was now retarded lol...I can laugh now (for the most part) but it was horrendous. I was tripped going down stairs, hair pulled, punched, and generally terrorized. I was too small and timid to fight back.

One thing I'll say; maybe some people who were bullied become bullies, but I don't think I could EVER do to someone what was done to me. Just remembering how it felt would stop me dead in my tracks.

Some people have allot of nerve doing that to a person. I wish they could have a taste of their own medicine. No one EVER has the right to hurt anyone else

Hon...I cant imagine anyone treating you terribly. You are wonderful. Personally...I was not bullied in school. There may have been a couple of wise remarks made to me..but not on a daily basis. I was fortunate for this. I have seen and heard so many stories from friends here who suffer terribly to this day from bullying when they were children. My heart goes out to you and them. Huggles.

I was bullied in elementary school.. for the color of my skin, and being a new kid most of the time.. the boys would chase me and spit water on me and the girls would chase me and pull my hair. They would tease me because I always dressed different (obvious hand me downs that didn't fit) and I never had lunch or lunch money.. even the teacher was mean to me..
