Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The paper boy was sweet on me. Only way he knew to express was by teasing me. I knocked him off his bike with my violin case! All was cool till I wanted to impress my dad by playing the new song! Opened the violin case.....it was in a hundred pieces!!
Busted!!!
sad things is ....there are a lot of bullies and rumor starters here too....REALLY REALLY sad and on a support site as well!!
I was bullied throughout my childhood, and tenage years. one of my worst experiences was after I spoke out about my grandfather abusing me, the information got spread around the school and I was then accused of being a grandfather fucker. I did not go a day without being asked what it was like giving him a bj, how much he paid me, being accused of going home to have sex with him...or being bailed up in a corner and getting beaten for being apervert. some of the teachers over heard this sorta stuff and smirked. I remember a day in class a student asked me if I like giviing my grandfather head, and did I swallow...I looked a the female teacher and waited for her to interject, she stopped and watched me waiting for me to answer.
after a 4 months of this I tried to take my own life.
At secondary school I was picked on,but very rarely physical. Sometimes the whole class were laughing at me cos of snide comments. Ezcema didn't help. Nor jumble sale clothes. My Father died when I was 15yrs old and it stoppped then. Most were sympathetic, but to those who had bullied me I was like "hey, stuff you,Don't see why you should talk to me now, just cos my dad has died. I was very quiet until this happened, too scared to speak in case I was laughed at. It does stay with ya for life! But I don't take any shit now!lol! (not a bully)
LOL!! Yvonne, you are bringing out some details here!
Wear a DRESS on FRIDAY? no...nope...no way!
See? To the bullies, it was flip-up Friday....the guys felt free to grab the hem and toss it for everyone to view the panties!
Never, ever wear your dresses on Friday!!!
Was I bullied? Sure. Did I fight back? YEP!!!
i hated it at the time and as far as i can tell, my only crime was doing my own thing. but luckily i also made a couple of extremely good friends, whom i`m still friends with now.. and all the bullies have faded into obscurity, i take a grudging satisfaction in that ;)
