Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

my Mam is currently on holiday, I’m tempted to go live at her house for the next few days because me and my boyfriend are fighting. I’m so scared to leave though, I think if I go that’ll be it, he won’t want me back. Do I go and give us some space? Do I stick it out and hope the arguing stops even though it makes me suicidal? If I do stay at my mams what if he doesn’t care? What if he asks me to move out perminantly? What if I’m not safe by myself at my mams and do something silly because I can’t cope?
I’m sobbing my heart out while typing this, hysterical, he’s literally sitting 2 feet away and is just listening to me cry. What’s the point? I might as well be dead.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I can hear the pain and fear in your post, and I want you to know that you are not alone. I have been there. Right now it sounds like you are really emotional, and it is hard to think things through when your emotions have taken over. It can be good to get some space from an emotionally charged situation. Is there a wise friend you can go spend a couple of days with, who can listen and give you an objective perspective? Have you thought about telling your boyfriend that because you love him so much and because you want to make your relationship work, you think it might be good for you to spend a couple of days at a friend’s so you can settle down and come back ready to have a calm discussion? If you do not have a wise friend you can talk to, is there someone else like a counselor or a pastor, you can talk to who can help you get a fresh perspective? I am so sorry you are going through this. I know it’s hard.
It will all work out.
God Bless
