I work from home and I basically never go outside. I have no friends because of it but every time I think about going outside I'm scared because of past trauma. Now as I age I wish I could've had the life others had. Therapy starting tmrw and I hope it goes well.

I've had the same problem. I've been going to therapy for years and it is helping me cope, for sure. I hope it helps you too!!

I hope your therapy appointment goes well for you. They can be really helpful. They give you tools to help yourself. Some people think that a therapist will just make them better, but you have to do the work within yourself. I'm sorry you had trauma in your life. It can take a while to overcome that, but it is possible. It's great that you are here to be able to communicate with others. Since you don't go outside that much, maybe some vitamin D would help you. Sun is the best vitamin D, but we do need it and when we don't go out in it, we need it. Friends will come in time. Work on you for now and please let us know how it's going. Hugs

I hope that your therapy goes well. Just take it one day at a time.

I hope therapy goes well for you. I don't know. You can work outside of the home for your whole work life and not really make friends either. That happened to me. There are some positive things from working at home, too. Just another perspective on that.

The managers haven't changed but the turnover rate for the associates has been about 95% in the last 4 years!!! We get new clerks each semester, which is great. The cases are extremely stressful. The paralegal and office manager are very toxic (unorganized,...
