I am so tired of everything turning out bad for me. I don't know what to do. My relationship is falling apart and my kids are giving me hell. Well the 2 16yo girls are. I feel like my nerves have taken all they can and anything else will push me over the edge.

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

This is quite serious and belittling on many levels.
The Children/teens causing the bullying are also disrespecting the entire gay/lesbian community as well.
What do you think you can do to stop this from continuing any further????
Be persistent
It's the schools duty to insure a safe, learning environment

Ask the girls if it is just them, or are others being bullied as well.
Call each parent individually, in a neutral tone, and don't make accusations. Ask them how they would feel if their child were telling them what you are hearing.
You're daughters will do everything to prevent this, as they will feel embarrassed. Too bad.
They will understand that this is a life lesson, someday.
Arrange to first meet with all students and parents in your home first.
Talk it out. Tell the school in advance what is happening, because the other parents will, that is for sure.
Work it through. Let the kids talk , but have a school counselor at the ready, to moderate.
Next, request an all school assembly to talk about bullying and it's effects. Use recent cases where suicide has been the outcome. Bring in experts from your police community, mental health community and also the gay and lesbian community.
Make the super indent aware by copying him on all of your plans.
Turn this negative into a positive life lesson for all involved.
Hugs.
There is also home schooling if all else fail.
Show your daughters a great example. YOU.
It's my sleeping pill kicking in.
