Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I haven't been getting much of it lately, but personally I'm very much in favor of it. I think it's probably necessary to keep our species alive and such. I think that sex should be part of standard therapy and should be paid for by the HMOs. I'm sure it would cure depression for a lot of people.

I have Bipolar Disorder, so I go through cycles of hypersexuality when I have sex with several strangers each week for months, and then when the mania subsides I have no interest in sex for months. I'm in a down period right now and I'm glad. The mania is scary.
also, i wasn`t quite sure what this was about so i looked for "sex" on the internet.... you won`t believe this but there`s actually quite a lot of helpful sites out there with all KINDS of reference material!!

Sex is a great short-term endorphin rush. Then, after the orgasm, the depression returns with a vengeance. But it's fun for awhile there!
