Hello everyone!
We have been investigating the performance issues of DailyStrength and have found that the Meebo bar is the main culprit. Our performance reports show short, but repeating, impacts in traffic.
Engineering is scheduled to release a temporary patch tomorrow that should improve the situation. We will keep you posted on this thread.

I've only been here a year and in just that year the Troll problem has gotten way worse and the site itself is impossible at times.
And if someone doesn't get that little pop up off the bottom left hand of my screen.........I know I will blow a gasket someday and throw my computer out the window!!!!!!!!!!!!! (problem solved...LOL)
And if meebo were the big problem then how come those of us who do not have get as many or more of the same problems - like Max who got the 37 hugs from the glitch and others have had a cozen comments on journals and all sorts of things that go bump int he night!
No I agree with Red and MTC - I do not see how meebo can be causing all of this - especially if it doesn't cause it on other sites. Of course we only have the cut-down version of it as I recall - the economy one LOL.
