Hiya,
It's cloudy with the occasional show of sunshine. It was sooo hot last night, felt like the worst night this year, which is odd because it's been incredibly hot this summer for us. Maybe I just felt it last night.
Still, it's all going to change now and the weather will shift. Of course there's going to be a few more nice days left this month and next, but essentially I guess the "hot weather" is over. The end of summer is coming.
I hate the winter, the dark days, freezing days and wet gloomy days. As much as we moaned about it being too hot, now we moan it's too cold, lol, welcome to England.
Doug and I this morning was going to re felt the roof of a small wooden shed in the bottom right hand corner of our garden. We took the old off and I questioned was it worth doing the roof? Seeing as we are getting a skip why don't we just get rid of it? Could we empty it and find somewhere for the stuff to go? We did! So we pulled it down, it was knackered anyway. So now I've got a corner of the garden to tidy up.
Joanne what is on your agenda this weekend? Is your land garden still producing crop or is it looking like it's coming to the end of the season. ..
Carly we trust the doctors because what choice do we have, they trained and we didn't. If they say I need blood pressure meds and statins then I'll take them.
Leo I forgot the last time Milo bought me a present, I think he's too old or he can't be bothered lol.

It's overcast and that is a fitting mood. My son in Georgia is having a mental health crisis, he is bipolar as was his birth mom and now is teenage daughter is also. This is so depressing, not the kind they have, just a general Mom heartache.
Sandra, welcome to my State of Oregon, we love nice weather and the fall, hate the summer heat even though we have AC and then we complain about the wet, dreary, cold, freezing winter. What do you plan on doing with that garden new corner?
My land garden needs watered and veggies picked but I admit to getting over all the care it requires at this time of year.
Carly, what you are going through with Mike and all the doctors and medications can be overwhelming. For me this has been my life and it's much easier. The choices are what Sandra said with taking her meds.
Leo, can you get a female doctor to help you? Things have really changed in medicine with a hysterectomy as I had one in my twenties. My male gyn had to go before a board to justify my hysterectomy at 25 using the argument if they had a wife or daughter having constant pain and bleeding what would they want for their loved one?
PEACE
It has cooled off here a bit this evening. 86f. I just cannot take the 95-100f during the day. Even though Mike is at the ranch I can't bring myself to put the a/c on 75. I will have all the ceiling fans on and lighter clothes. :-)
Sandra, what are your temps these day's that you call hot? How do you heat your house? Do you have a furnace?
I will say that we never seem to be happy with the weather. Complaining if it is too cold and complaining if too hot.
Good news that you and Doug got the roof finished....and now the clean up. Always the worst part.
Talking about med's and doctor's. Before Mike was going through all his "issues" I would have agreed with you. But after seeing so many different opinions from so many doctors sometimes we have to read and decide what is best for us. The statin's are not doing well for him. He cut them in half instead of the full dose. It's working better.
The doctors ordered the same test 2 times as he had already taken it!! He told them he already took the Echo Complete and the CT Cardiac Calcium Scoring. But another doc still ordered it.
But I will say to please listen to your doctor as long as you are getting better and feeling comfortable with them. Of course every case is different.
Joanne, I am so sorry to hear about your son's mental health crisis. I pray that things will get better for him and you as well. There is always a general Mom heartache when it comes to our children in crisis.
I do agree, we do have to make choices when it comes to our health.
I am so sorry that you had a hysterectomy in your 20's. So young. I guess maybe the constant pain and bleeding made it ok? Or maybe not. I can't image how difficult that could have been for you.
Leo, what's up?
Wishing everyone a great rest of the weekend.
Sending much love and hugs to all.
