My husband has had asthma since a baby with sinus infections etc.
About a year ago he quit playing golf because of his knee and our dog died. He is all better now! Just sayin'.......
About 6 months ago I stopped going to water aerobics because I hurt my knee. Thanks to encouragement here I've been twice this week. My husband asked if it made me sort of breath. I had to say not at all.
For me it hits when I first sit down and I do have that elephant on my stomach when I lay on my back. Since you're fascinated : ) I'll remind you I have no coughing or mucus but have slipped into 3rd stage.

Dennis, I sorry to hear about your decline. I have been using a walker now for 1 year. It has a seat on it and holds my 02 so I can move about more. I live in a high rise on the 7th floor. I love it here, and I go down the elevator and down to the lobby or community room, and sometimes I go outside for a walk with my little dog, Einstein. He's a pom. Next to God and my family, he is the love of my life. Hang in there Dennis, I know you will. And Jim, I did not know how very ill you were. thanks for sharing it with me. I means alot when someone lets you in to their bad news as well as their good news. I am sending you a hug around your neck!

Den and Jim I'm sorry for your progression with this disease. You both have shared your knowledge and humor with all of us and I for one truly appreciate it. I was in the hospital last week after seeing my NEW pulmonologist and she had me go straight to a hospital bed. Bad , actually dangerous 02 levels, Been trying to let someone know about this and finally found a good doc. Look like I'm a candidate for a lung transplant and have gone through numerous tests with more to go. My emphysema along with fibrosis and especially pulmonary hypertension has come to a point to take action. Keep me in your prayers as you are in mine. Bob

Jim and Dennis, you are always in my prayers. You both help everyone here and rarely even mention your own illnesses.
God bless you both, I will pray harder that you both stabalize.
Jim I had a brochoscopy, I hope they get that nodule out.

My heart goes out to everyone dealing with this dx ~ especially Dennis and Jim at this particular time. I am here almost everyday checking things out, but rarely say much. I always look forward to whatever Dennis has to say.....he is always of top of all the latest info. Jim also has such good input - not saying the rest of you don't have good info, too. You are all in my prayers. Karen
