Tis good to know of others if they wish it. It often gives a fullness and understanding to other statements and comments made ("wonder why they said that?") in the myriad of conversations we have. Thank you for your sharing.
I've been a mite quiet as to my little world of late. My emphysema is progressing well - down around the 30% mark. The biggest blow is I have to use a walker now. The peripheral muscle wasting associated with end stage emphy hit pretty hard and fast (happens to about 40% of us). I can no longer get up from the floor, a squatting or kneeling position, or walk a straight line. Getting out of chairs is a painful process (getting into them ain't too bad though - just got to aim good). With the walker I can keep from running into things and hurting myself more. Tis OK though - I still have my keyboard and sick sense of humor to fall back on...

Cou[le that with my Parkinson Disease and I spend more time on the floor than on my feet. Plus the attendant knowledge that I have one, out of many, nodule that has decided to go on a rapid growth spurt. I won't go into further detail until my next CT Scan and pulmo visit. He already has me penciled in for another Bronchoscopy for next month. If he can remove the errant nodule, and surrounding tissue, he plans on doing just that. To say it's not weighing on my mind would be a lie! Am I hurting? yes, I am.

You are both in my prayers too. You both give so much to the rest of us on the board and I can only pray that you both are given the best of care and will continue to be here to support us when you can. You have both helped me many times and I am forever grateful.
Much love to you both,
Cindy

Tis great that you are now back to water aerobics. I haven't read all that much on the wasting, but what I have read hasn't indicated any of that prior to late stage 4. I am sorry you have gone into stage 3. Stay well, it'll slow the progress.
If you are up to housework, what are your rates?
Hugs,
Dennis
You both have been a great help to me.
