Bold print I never contacted them back. I guess I should have.
the lung flute & such items i asked my dr about long agao & he told me not to waste my money; plus it sounds so uncomfortable to have air pushed back into my lungs while i am exhaling so i never tried it.
silfox & kitties; in the 80's i babysat 2 kids with cystic fibrosis and would have to "pound" them several times, in numerous spots on their back, a day which sounds like your cupping explanation.
does it actually help??
as i am alone i was thinking some type of vibrator with a long handle that i could do myself, but my dr told me not to waste my money once again that it would not help.
i do the hot heat pads.
try to stay well hydrated.
cross my arms just under my diaphram & bend over when i cough.
the spiriva is the one thing that got these to start coming up at all at least.
all this has helped, but it is still bad choking.
what is the vest that was mentioned? does it vibrate?
also, what is ''huff cough"?
boldprint; you say a few years ago you had them & they just went away? what did you do? (i have had this for years & it never stops)
this choking trying to get up mucous plugs is horrible and any advice for a person that lives alone i would greatly appreciate!

I saw that having fans moving the air around was helpful too so I did that tonight and my kitty immediately went to hide under my bed.
I think I need time and more tips.

Anyway it has immediately loosened the phlem ...I don't know what a mucus plug looks like but I think I have them. Thick little balls of mucus that when you move it around it is really elastic! UK! Sorry about the graphics.
I think it's gonna help! Will this reduce the horrible tightness I get in my chest? I hope this shows as a new, not buried post. Gang I have really been suffering with this chest tightness. Sometime using my Albuterol canister every 4 hours and I heard that's bad for ya. Do mucus plugs cause chest tightness?
