Well, I've had some pretty weird jobs in my lifetime so I'll have to think that over and pick the weirdest.

You think & get back to me. I think I've had more weird ones than normal ones. Normal is just too normal :>))

ALL my jobs were weird.............LOL.they wanted me to WORK??????? Now isn't that weird???????? LOL (seems to be now a days)

Actually.....the last 10 years I have cooked..at a Nuclear Power Plant, then at an Assisted Living.

Prior to that I worked in accounting..........for BIG companies, collecting $$$ from places like Lowes, Home Depot, etc

So...I don't really have a "weird"......................BUT..I am dying to hear YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!........LOL

Would raking leaves and picking up trash in a cemetary count? I didn't collect a salary - it was a volunteer type thing for the church.......

When I was a kid (14) I had a job maikng "silly putty" for a novelty store - After about 4 months of that, I got a job washing dishes. I still do not mind washing dishes...

I don't mind washing dishes either.............its kinda a mindless task.......least at my job...............I have to think when I cook, but no so when I wash dishes:):).......pays the same, so what do I care...........LOL

Well, I was a policeofficer for about 2 years , then worked in the prison system for 15 years. Those were normal, but had wierd moments!!!
I enjoyed both, but since I was to nice to stay a cop for long. Cops are nice, but you have to be firm and stay un emotional, not this girl!!! So medical in the prison system took care of my curiosity about what makes criminals do what they do, and my "careing" good cop side.

OK, in the city I grew in their was a restaurant called the Kahiki. It was a very cool place. Not there any more. What a shame. Anyways, they had a special drink they called 'The Mystery Drink'. Served 10 people or 1 drunk & was served by the Mystery girl. You would order the drink & they would call the mystery girl, who was downstairs watching TV, and she would come up & the head waiter would guide her to the giant Tiki God & she would bow down, hoping not to catch her black wig on fire as this drink was on fire. Then the waiter would led her to the customer & I would serve the drink, put a lei around their neck & kiss them on the check. Then I'd go back downstairs & watch TV :>))

How do you make silly putty????? Is it a secret:>))

omg that's so funny. and it really does sound like a fun job. did you ever find out the ingredients in the mystery drink? i was watching in-session on the john bailey goodman dwi case and i learned about drinks called "mind erasers" and "irish car bombs". sorry for the lower case but some of my keys are stuck.

Nope! Tis a mystery. It was pink though & I was happy for the dim lights cause in full light I looked like a French trollop:>) I wanna know how to make silly putty!

Gosh - we are talking about something I did half a century ago. I remember two compounds(one liquid and one powder). You had to combine the two using heat (stovetop) and stir for just about forever (an hour or 2). It had the consistency of partiall cured concrete (so I thought . After the stuff was mixed, you had to put it in a cooler for 24 hours. Then pull it apart into specifically sized peices to put in little eggs. You couldn't cut it.
Today a 14 YO couldn't do it. The gubbermint wonld have termed it child labor. For me it was a job that helped our family out.
Thanks for the memory jog. Hadn't thought about that in many, many years..
