My turn to let you know what is going on with me.
Well...
My hubby should be considered disabled has alot of issues. If you want me to name all of them I will. But any how.. He refuses to get on social security becuase he feels like he would be living in shame. Ive out right said to him What are you going to do when I die? It felt horrible saying it to him and I dont want to control him but at the same time alot of people think it would take alot off my back. I just think to my self he married me for richer or poorer right?
Also he is Borderline!! Very emotional I like it and well it can be problematic at the same time. One of the symptoms is here comes the trumpets manipulation.
We all know that no one is perfect. I would like to know if any one can give me some pointers on what to avoid? I dont see Borderline on that Sociopathic list. (I think I am glad). Because I know he has guilt and feelings. Just needs to grow up and control his anxiety
I have never really thought of myself as being co-dependent. Does grieving over lost love or facing the fact that what I had for 6 years was not love but some twisted form of attachment make me co-dependent?
"Dear ****,
You have been missed! Day day does not pass that you are not in my thoughts, and I hope that you are doing well, also that you find in life the acceptance, ope and love that you desire. You are my dear friend forever, whether, come what may.
Each day is a struggle to survive and to try to extract some sense of purpose and meaning from life, in the face of overwhelming odds. If you still feel you were a "Healing Conduit, well, there's no higher calling perhaps. Me too. You are always loved & appreciated for your loving kindness, humor and insight!
Your Friend,
R**

Thank you for sharing the letter he wrote. It is so typical of Narcissists to try to lure you back in with their "good guy" crap. He's talking about being a friend? Please... And the typos are typical too! Be strong and stay away from him. Mine tried the same "good guy" technique on me but I didn't buy it.
You on the other hand are already there. You are so strong, do not give in. Get out there, enjoy your life WITHOUT him. You now can control your thoughts. When thoughts of him pop in your head, remember the monster he really is. HE IS ALL LIES. HE HAS NO REAL EMOTIONS. ALL HE WILL BRING IS PAIN. That is all he knows to do. Do not let him suck the life out of you again after you have made all this progress. Let the thoughs of him go to something else.....do not dwell on them. You are doing so well, so good. YOU HAVE YOUR LIFE BACK AND I ENVY YOU.
Get out there and meet people, start dating men. Go for the complete oposite of guys you normally start dating so that you will not attract another one like your ex. There are many many fish in the sea and you never know what type you might like until you try them out. There are so many nice men out there who will not hurt you. Do not be afraid to get your feet wet again. Do not compare all men to your ex either. Your ex had no capacity to love. You deserve love, now go find it. Quit wasting time going backwards keep moving forward onto your new life ....a wonderful life that is all your own without him...it is exciting...think of it that way.
