Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
The Boss sometimes goes with me in the scooter basket and it would be her saying "okay, buy all of that flavor and all of that flavor" at the cat food.
And when it came to the guy behind me having a tantrum, she would have turned to me and said "let's go to the car and I'll hit the secret button and get the spray bottle of water and my flame thrower. I'll spray him first with the bottle of water. If he continues, then I'll do a little bun toasting on him today with the flame thrower. I'll just tell people he was so flatulent he burned out his shorts in the back."
LOL
I don't know. I think I would teach her how to attack on command. Then you can unleash her on nasty people like him.
WAIT........
I see a problem here ................
The Boss is a service cat. No, most likely you don't want to teach her any attack on command commands.

And I really figure that one big reason that Dr Phil is so popular is because many people in our violent society really do like and support brutes and bullies.
But some of us know better than that.
I am going on a NAMI Walk in October.
I am excited about it.
I have gone to some NAMI meetings.
I have Bipolar 2 Disorder.
Take good care of yourselves, everyone!!!!!!!
It is important enough to recognise that we are more than our codependancy. This is discoverred all the more when we discover we have an identity that is so much more wonderful than the one we carried for years. So YEAH! I'm codependant. No big deal. Those who attach stigma to it are those who are ignorant about it.....who have met codependants who were controllers and aggressive. Such is not the representation of ALL codependants.
I myself love to talk about codependency, but my family of origin simply hates the very word of "codependency", and my people will physically fight if need be against anyone calling them as codependent, and they seriously resist any talk about the subject.
Therefore the point about stigma is that we need to help make so that other people can start their own treatment without feeling like they are being labelled or being given some unwanted name calling.
The strong need to help support the weak.
That is how I understand it.
