I use this thing at least 14 hours a day. The electrodes that I use are leaving horrible burn/brand marks on my back. I have two channels so four electrodes. I do alternate where they are attached which is good and bad. Good because I can move them, but bad because now I have eight one inch squares on my back. I told my wife, one more and we can play tic-tac-toe. Unfortunately I use the disposable electrodes, which are pretty much the bottom of the line, but they stick. The good ones I was taping on and it just wasn't working out. Has anyone else had any experience with this situation or related to it????? Please respond if so.

------------------------------------mmm my pt said use it one hr then turn off 1/2 hr then back on 1 hr etc. but my pm doc said you can use it for hours straight IF you turn it down on low right below where you can feel it. I tried this. Pain came right through...I HAD to turn it up to feel it in order to get relief. mmm think doc never had CP.
DO want to say....I called manufacturer EMPI and they said they are sending me contact FOR SENSITIVE SKIN!!! Gray round things stick to my skin and hurt to remove. Hoping these new ones do better. Will let you know. I wouldn't deal with BURNS! Careful!! Take care. L

I've backed off on the constant stimulation, which in turn is allowing my back to heal. The pain is more severe while practicing this method. I'm in the process of a workers comp deal, my PM doc referred me to a neurosurgeon but.......WC?????Long story! Thanks.

When I put my TENS on it helps,but my side effects,it feels like I have the TENS on my feet and hands sometimes arms and legs.So it's working sort of no burns here.yet.

Yes. I got mine on December 17th. I use it on and off for moth of the day. I'm not sure if it's really working. I use it cuz my pmd told me to. Since most of my pain is due to a sternum fracture I don't think it's gonna help that much. He told me to use it for the nerve pain that I'm having in my chest. It seems to help only a little bit. Bur I'm not sure if it's that or the gabapentin he started me on a month ago. Either way there is some improvement in my nerves. My sternum still hurts as bad as the day I had the accident. But that's not suprising. I don't think much can be done for a fractured sternum.
