Below is a link to an article from "cracked.com." If you have never visited this site before, I highly recommend it for very interesting articles on about any subject that you can think of; and the writers usually have first hand experience. Beware though, the language used in many articles will be offensive to many.
All of that said, the article explains the problems when the government bans drugs. The author of this article has specifically written about his experience with Adderall, which is a Schedule II drug with the street name of "speed." It is used for adult ADHD, and for people who are depressed, and/or have little energy.
If you substitute the medication "Adderall" in the article with any Schedule II pain medication, you will see striking similarities and problems this person has suffered through with what many folks on this board describe.

BTW - - Within the article above, there is a link to "5 Unexpected Things I Learned from Being a Heroin Addict." That title may seem to be out of place on this board, but the author gets into the use of Methadone, which does come-up here from time-to-time. Based on this article, I would stay far away from this drug. Again, this article uses very strong language.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...
