My mom had the sound track to south pacific. I still remember the album cover with the beautiful girl on the front....it was so foreign to me then ... thought wow, people live like that? I do remember that song and the commercial.. which was changed to "I'm gonna wash that gray right out of my hair.

Good times in those days. I have already shampooed and am clean and fresh and ready for a new day on Chronic Pain.

I'm an oldie goldie too.S. Pacific was a Broadway Musical first. I saw the film of the Musical when I was a little girl. Loved it though the ending was sad and, at the time, I didn't understand the racial overtones. Great musical w/ something important to say!! Bali Hai, Some Enchanted Evening, Gonna Wash that Man right outa my hair, all great songs.

As for the Wizard of Oz, "I am the Great and Powerful Oz" but turned out to be all smoke and mirrors. LOL

If you're just joking around, yep, I remember the commercial and I too have to get rid of the gray hairs! I have a commitment from my daughter, that if I ever go into the hospital and am out of it, someone must color my hair for me! lol, I have no idea how much gray hair I have anymore, and don't intend to find out!!
