Having a good pain day, let's share what's helped!
Hello,
I have chronic nerve pain and a lingering back injury, and there aren't many things which helped my pain significantly. I am, as the title says, having a good day for pain, and after reflection (journaling and symptom tracking), I wanted to share what I have learned is helping me even a little, in the present, and hopefully learn from others!
The time-change really messed me up (the MediSafe app didn't change automatically-watch out for that), so I kind of lost a week. Since then,
So, nothing super new to people here. Today I found some relief in: CBD, lyrica, capsasin, mindfulness practice, cayenne in my coffee, a hot shower, stretching (as much as I can), writing (I use a stylus on my phone, neuropathy), distraction (TV). I have a decent setup for when I have to lay down, and I try to keep in mind my gratitude for the little things, like a heating pad. Cinnamon, and it's mild antiinflamatory properties. THC followed by food. Insence, lotion, anything soothing to the senses.
Compression is a necessity for me, and I've done it a few ways. Gloves, and eventually little compression finger rings and sweatbands. I can see my hands again, and I bought a bunch of colors. Cheap.
Please tell me yours! If nothing else, I can use this as a reminder that I don't always think nothing helps.

I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...
