Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I had to have another oral surgery at the end of last month. I lost count how many I had in the last 10 years since my accident. In November I had to have a molar remove because it gave out on me -( almost all of my teeth were either cracked or broken when I hit my face). November extraction by a surgeon went horribly wrong - I didn't close and multiple large bone pieces were coming out 2 months after. I continued to have issues until my dentist took another X-ray and said that my good remaining molar adjacent to the extraction site had a fractured root - it looked like the root exploded inside - apparebtly it happened during the extraction unintentionally.
the dentist sent me back to the surgeon to remove that molar too.
I thought it was going to be the end of my suffering for a while - I was sadly mistaken. I developed complications again, lost the bone graft, over 25 bone fragments came out through the gum in the last 3 weeks.
I can not even begin to describe the nerve pain that I ve been living with. I thought losing most of my jaw after the accident was painful - this was worse.
I have another post op follow up on Tuesday - the surgeon will probably think I am nuts. 25 bone fragments is not a believable story, but it is real. I probably should have saved all the pieces, but i thought it would be psychotic to collect your own bone spicules
i just never experienced anything like it.
I was googling like crazy trying to understand what has been happening to me but found no answers.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

I am 47, but I had osteopenia at the age of 26 due to starvation as a teen.
I think my bone quality is ok, because this is the first time I had bone issues and they did a number of CTs to check my bone quality, but I should probably have a bone scan to see if I have osteopenia again.
