This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Sending (((HUGS!!!))) and extra love and healing your way!
sorry the boys are priks...
About the pain, you really should have some painkillers.
I think LisaLoo had some great points. Sometimes maybe they know you are in pain and do not want to add to the stress.
I always tell my husband that the kids had a brain when they were born and I don't know where they lost it. I hope your kids find theirs soon.
Sometimes I mix it up and send them a thank you card or note telling them" thank you, because of you I am a mom and I am proud to be your mother". It messes with there brain. :)
Praying you feel better soon.
Hugs-RJ
My insane, cruel, incredibly abusive mother died in 2009 and it takes way to much of my energy to try and remember her in any positive way, in order to "celebrate" her life on Mother's day.
My father unfortunately, is still aliv,e was also cruel, mean and incredibly abusive in many different ways, but he expects that card to arrive one day each year proclaiming what a great father he is....makes me want to puke every single year.
I have 2 sons who were always awesome kids, I love them more than anything in the world. The youngest who is a teenager texts me a "Happy Mothers Day", probably when he has a moment to spare during all of the days plans he makes for his bitch Step-Mom.
My oldest son who is 25 is the only one I get any type of love and care from. He takes time out from his wife and family of 4 to spend an hour on the phone with me, because he's too far away to drive & he knows physical limitations don't allow me drive that far and that's how he's able to spend time with me.
Personally I think stupid holidays like Mothers Day and Fathers Day and Valentines Day are just ridiculous Marketing plans made up by very wealthy advertising agencies who make lots of money off of people who buy into the crap. I refuse to do so. I don't need a fake holiday to have a meaningful conversation with my son.
nerve pain.
RJ I am with you. Did the same thing today with both sons when I received calls to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. Just said thank you for making me a mom.
When you get older and are in pain a houseful is not necessarily a gift.
A quiet day is my gift. I had the opposite yesterday and got through.
Lisaloo I understand your feelings as well. I am sorry you are without your mom this year. Yes it would bring hard hard feelings. I lost my mom before Christmas 14 years ago and it was a long time before I could stand to see people happy during the season. To this day I don't shop in stores after the second week of November.
peace

My younger son (31) called to tell me happy Mother's Day, and then told me he lost a good friend (32) in a freak accident. I was so sad for his mom. Friday before Mother's Day. It's just not fair.
Maybe you could call your boys just to see how they're doing. They'll probably be embarrassed about forgetting. Worth a try...
Gentle hugs.
