Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Good to see you JC!
I have replied twice and lost it so I will just say hello.
Been under the weather with the weather.
So good to see those who have popped in that haven't
around.
love and peace

I've been around off and on since last year. Sometimes I post more than others. It just depends how exhausted I am and whether or not my brain works.
Yvette- if you like politics, sex, intrigue, and violence you'll love house of cards. It's awesome. I have such a crush on both of them, Robin wright and spacey.
I have netflix on 24-7, usually greys anatomy. I've seen the series like 13 times. It calms my anxiety for some reason, I don't like quite and alot of the time I can't do anything else. I watch Weeds, Scandal, Happy Valley has a new season. Oh Grace and Frankie is so funny, it's with lily Tomlin and Jane fonda and they are such great characters.
I don't like commercials anymore they make me nervous. I just watch the new greys and Scandal on on demand.
Anyway the pain has been pretty awful lately so it's been easier to reat and not post.
I'm here.. and in pain and in a bad mood.
uggggggggggggh.
I'm also pissed off....... but I'm tired of whining.
xo
I'm still here! I'm sorry you've had some rough times.
Often I don't feel good enough to post but I do manage to read.
Money is very tight so a few days a week I try to get some horses ridden or teach a lesson to pay some bills. Then I have to recover for a few. Ice pack and bed.
Thank god for Netflix. Isn't the new Orange is the New Black supposed to be out soon?
That last surgery to fix radiculopathy from a pinched nerve, left a huge knot of scar tissue, impinging on a nerve. Causing horrid muscle spasms and nerve pain in my neck and back.
Sorry to whine... Grateful for all of you!
Looks like I came back just in time... I've been away... Pain and Depression both kicking my ass... and most of my devices all died over about a week's time...
I try to read posts when I can't post myself, but this last stint kept me away from pretty much everything... I've basically been a full-time recliner jockey these days... spending about 21 or 22 hours out of every 24 in the recliner... About the only time I leave the house is to go to see a Doc... or have a test...
Had lumbar and cervical MRIs a feww weeks ago... can now add cervical spinal stenosis to the list... yippie... The otheer thing that's been out of control lately is my tinnitus... after 38 years of constant screamin g in my head you'd think I'd get used to it... no such luck... Lately it's been so bad sometimes that I can't even put my earbuds in my ears...
When that happens, I lose most of my main coping strategies... and my only source of my "simulated sleep"... my "4 Hours Sleep In 40 Minutes" brainwave entrainment MP3... Then I get crankier than usual... and that makes for some touchy family dynamics around here... NOT fun!
OK, now my hands are REALLY screaming and I haven't laid down since day before yesterday and I think that hour of rest is wearing off... Wishing all low pain and higfh spirits...
Peace,
Dave
Nice to see Old and New friends. I try to check in as I can. My challenges have been a bit tougher than normal. So, I have not been a daily poster but am hoping to get back to showing up to the party more often. :)
BILL and anyone else who feels that when they get their pain under control that they do not belong here. Are you serious??? You have been through the pain everyday just like the rest of us. You have valuable information and support to offer. I am glad for anyone who has succeeded at pain relief. That is everyone's goal. So you can offer hope that it can be attained in some cases. You can offer support to those of us who very likely will not see a totally pain free day again. Just my humble opinion. Throw in some chocolate with that support! :)
Wishing all a peaceful evening.
Hugs-RJ
Not much to say
Peace

Totally X Files lol.
Having a lot of problems with my lower back, so I've been binge watching while on ice
Bridge of Spies which is based on true story and was very good movie...I enjoyed crying at the end too because I am a softy for good movies...LOL
I rented it at Redbox along with Specter the newer 007movie with coupon for one free...so $1.63 and two fine movies I have to watch Specter tomorrow but think it is going to be good because it is a Bond flick
