Everything hurts, being sick is for the birds.

I try to give up less energy every day to dwelling on the pain, discomfort, the variety of symptoms, the everything of all of it syndrome that defeats my ability to accept, seek joy, be alright...maintain

I'M TIRED OF BEING SICK ALL THE FREAKING TIME...I WANT TO JUST YELL AND SHOUT AND SCREAM AND HAVE A GOOD OLD FASHIONED SELF DEFEATING TANTRUM!

It does me no good, takes my limited energy and flat lines me, so there is nothing positive that comes from it...but sometimes I think I just have to give into my own human frailty.....kick up some dust and gravel, lay down rubber tire tracks and peel out of the sickness parking lot...

Yesterday I wanted so bad to start baking for Christmas but no... darn CF zaps all my energy so I end up just making a shopping list instead. After that I took a nap. It gets old!

Suh-weet...escaping in a hot fast car to a secret destination...we will totally get a Pinata Dude and knock it for six..I'm voting for velvety, melty soft chocolatey treats to fall out to eat while we race outta town...love the responses...thanks for cheering me up....rarin' to go!

Ruth I like how you share what your going through with us and it is long and descriptive. Most times it is exactly what I am going through but I am too tired to log in and put down. I'm glad when I see any of you express what you are going through, because it expresses what I often cannot.

I handled 11 phone lines and 250-350 e-mails a day in my last position, I think I developed some writing muscles over time...I can write what I can't say or communicate in person...odd how that is...I can be flat lining and still find a way to let things out with words...live, I get discombobulated...rarely talk on the phone ever, am quiet in a group... the Lord provided me a way to continue self-expression...I am so grateful.

There actually MAY be something to what you are "planning".

I've found that there actually are places for me where I feel better.
The sound of the ocean and the feel of the tide rocking my body in the water seems to wash away the pain and frustration.
I recently was around livestock... I had more energy around them than I have had in years.

Find that spot for you! and RUN, RUN TO IT... as fast as you can!

I would love to take that drive and just get away as fast as we can. I am soooooo sick of this, especially with the holidays, there's so much I'd like to do and can't.

Cool I like that attitude. I just found out in a report that came out having the epstien barr virus and having hep c makes me very prone to liver failure. So this year all I want for christmas and my new years resolution is to be healthy again, even just a little healthy. I am going to start walking and taking supplements to help. Take care and thanks for the pick me up. Have a good christmas. Also look at my avatar that guy has gotten me through alot of things, he is a great pet.

YES!!! More space please, so I can come too? I've begged my hubby to take me away....he asks "Where?" I never have an answer, except "Away from all this"......so we definitely need a bigger vehicle! I think I want a beach..a soft reclining chair...a good book..good friends. Oh yes, and some of your chocolate, please???

I say we pull a Thelma and Louise, so we're gonna need a big ass convertible! I tried to go shopping at the mall for a few hours with my hubby after work on a Friday night a few weekends ago; that landed me in bed from Saturday through Tuesday afternoon. I too am sick of not being able to do a damn thing. I want my old life back. It's not fair, really and nobody seems to understand. I am also angry that I am almost 38 years old and don't have kids yet. Now that I'm at the point in my life when I am actually done with school, married and somewhat ready to have a baby, now I am too sick and on too many meds and do not have enough energy. My husband does not want to have kids b/c he says that he will have to do most of the work b/c I am too sick and he's probably right. This illness has taken so much from me and I'm so sick of it! So in nutshell (yeah, right, you're saying), I am SO there). I'll bring some other treats too :)
