I need prayer for whether to quit my degree entirely or just for a semester. I can't do the work. The one day a week where the biologic is working, I get lots done. But I need to do that daily. And it may be months and months before I get back to that state, or maybe never. Please pray with me that God will show me the way to go. I just feel I am not healthy enough anymore to continue. I really thought God wanted me to do this. Not sure if I am getting worse because "the rain falls on the just and unjust" or that this is my burden to carry!!

Hi Marlene, It seems you have the option of quitting for only one semester or forgetting about the whole thing. What I think you can do is only cancel the one semester and leave the door open (since you are still not sure it is a good idea to quit completely). It may cause nervousness but you will be given yourself all the available options. Pray that God will open or close the door while you are taking the step in certain direction. I will be praying for you about this and for your other needs.

Thanks to all who have prayed. I did decide to withdraw for the semester only. I do have an overdue paper from one course, which I will try to write. The paper is half written, so hopefully I will feel well enough in a few days to get that weight off my shoulders.

Writing papers has always been the easiest thing for me. But having 50 sources and brain fog doesn't make it easy to put together!! Eventually I have to write a 250-300 page dissertation. But I get a year to do this.
