Hugs to you, Lavender. How are things going for you and with your house repairs. I know this is a very stressful time and I have been too busy with my own stuff to post much on here.

We are still waiting for the home insurance company to give money for repairs. The person in charge of the money and the contractor can't agree on the amount of the payment which is just for moving stuff out from the two rooms upstairs so the structural engineer guy can see the condition of the rooms and the roof and say how much it will cost for the repairs. They are stuck at how much to pay the contractor just to look at it. I think we will have to stay somewhere else during the repair. I am guessing there is a small chance we may be able to stay in the house but the contractor said it will be very unpleasant for us.

I hope you and your husband are doing well. I have not posted much myself. I have had severe pains in my shoulder and back from carrying heavy things. They were so bad that I had to stop doing what I tried to do which is taking a lot of dirty clothes to wash at the laundromat since our outlet for the washer and dryer got busted from the water. The woman in the city told me they will help put new outlet(s) in but as usual they are taking their time. I am uncomfortable thinking about us living somewhere else for a long period of time but the thought of the ceiling falling down on us while they are doing the repair is scary. The noise could be unbearable too. Please pray for us when you can remember. I will remember to pray for you and your husband too when I pray.
