my mother has steadily gone downhill with personal grooming and cleanliness. my sister does the laundry and she always just has 1 pair of underwear! her nails have dirt under them and she smells often. she never showered everyday for as long as I can remember but she would do a "bird bath". I don't know how to address this if I even should. I throw out the pastic cup she re uses all week when I go on sunday, it is disgusting. I have also noticed them is some blood, always on the same side of the toilet seat, that I will bring up tonight, there should be no blood. as for the rest is it worth the fight or her getting all upset and crying?

I would definitely get her to the doctor re blood on the toilet seat... bleeding isn't normal... She may be having a problem with ? a bladder infection or something with her bowels
I know how hard this can be... Once a parent eventually accepts the help though they are often glad of it... Big hug....x
