Mom come home after rehab?

I know she isn't walking a lot. She uses a walker. Don't know if she will be able to do steps. Person that will take care of her at home said my brother can carry her into house if neccesary. Two steps to poarch. Also, two steps to get in and out of bedroom. She might have to have bed in living room and portable potty. Caregiver said thats fine. Mom doesn't want to stay at nursing home. And her money would last longer with daytime home caregiver. Brother lives with her. Never been through this before.

I believe that it is very common for people like your mom to have a bed in a living room along with a portable potty. We were all set for that when mom was going to come home.

By all means let them work this one out!

And is the caregiver coming every day? I have had my uncle and my grandmother both spend time in the livingroom in hospital beds...An Occupational Therapist should show brother how to do safe transfers to the potty, or a chair (to change the sheets)...

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...
