I am wondering that today. I just got turned down by one of the law enforcement agencies that I had applied for. This really sucks. I am feeling pretty down about this because I just can't seem to have anything go right.
I keep waiting to catch a break. After my year last year I thought that I was due a streak of luck. I am still waiting. I am so fed up with everything in my life turning out to be false hope and more problems.
At this point I don't know what I am going to do. I keep putting applications and they go no where. The economy is getting worse and about 600,000 jobs were lost last month! The unemployment rate for people collecting benifits is 7.8% and this isn't including those who have run out of benefits or people like me who can't collect them. I bet that it is over 10% truthfully unemployed.

keep plugging the apps... but maybe, look in not so "apparent" places but somewhere you can do what you do, but will enjoy it.

Apply for everything, take what you can get until something in your field opens up.
I got laid off to go to school, and it looks like when I am done I will not have a job to go back to, so I will drop off resume's at everywhere in my field for a week or two, then everywhere else after. Thats what it takes to survive.
This job that I got turned down wasn't my dream job. I just took it hard because it made me worry about some other things.
I am still doing applications and still looking around. We shall see what happens down the road but someone has to hiring me at some point in time.
