I was asked what I was doing here on Divorce and Breakups.
Isn't this site for those who have experienced divorce and for those who feel they can encourage and lift up those who are hurting?
I have been thru a divorce. My previous marriage was a war zone. I was stabbed, beaten, threatened to be killed, knocked down by a car she was driving, she attempted to shoot me, had an ex-lover threaten to kill me, this was all done by my high school sweetheart. Do I qualify to be here or not? I thought this was a free site and open to all who felt they could contribute to others. Maybe not!!!

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
You are welcomed... duh....
I am loving, devoted and I love to give massages but, I can't cook. I am also taken and have a wonderful wife now for 34 years. Good luck. lol
