So, that set me up as the hero. But, a guy can't be a hero. I am just a guy. If a woman expects preferential treatment, then, it comes at a big price to a guy.
So, from now on I avoid women who:
1. Claim to be sensitive
2. Have fibromyalgia or depression
3. Have no money saved
4. Does not keep a well-run household

If you have not been a co-dependent your whole life, that is, if you did not accept the role at a very young age, and you've had other relationships in which you were not co-dependent, then there is no reason to believe you would necessarily be co-dependent in your next relationship.
It will sum it all up, about you and probably your wife.
Rman...it does sound like codependency. Why so against therapy? If you found a good one, i think you could benefit. I mean it couldn't hurt could it?
