My ex wants to get back together. So many times he left me in anger so this time I packed his stuff sort of to get even because he gave me the silent treatment while going to a family reunion where his x-wife was which is why I didn't go. He ignored my text all day then 2 attempted phone calls. I just got mad and packed his truck (he had only been back with me for 2 weeks so it wasn't much to pack). So then I started to get him to get his stuff out, he had a car in my garage, its summer i want to park my car in there! Lot of drama really, just made me feel sick. He left and stay at his x-wifes house. She hates me and did before I even knew her. I took crap from his grown daughter and his x-wife for years just because he wanted to be with me. He said he was not intimate with her for years they just do stuff because of the kids. One daughter is almost 15 now. We used to get along great. When he left me I cant count how many times he did, she was fine when he came back. This time since i packed him up and did the initiating now he wants to work things out again but the daughter is not talking to me, won't look my way, answers questions with short bad attitude. He said she told him she is disappointed. Well my son is 17 and he was not happy all the times he left me and treated me unfairly but he still showed respect and acceptance when we got back together trying to work things out. We do love each other its just that he doesn't talk when he is upset and I do and that is not a healthy combo. We are getting older and more mellow now but still have communication issues when there is a problem. We tried counseling 3 times, he didn't like any of the counselors. They didn't usually agree with him which I am pretty sure is why he didn't like them. I am sure he loves me but when he wants it his way, its his way no matter what, even if it means he has to leave to get his way. Why not because I always let him come back later. I love him, it is sick though, I don't know how to stop the problems and wish we could all just be happy but it messes with everyone not just us. My son has put up with so much especially when he see's me go through rough times with this guy. My son is very supportive though and I could not ask for a better son... he is there for me no matter what. I try to stop this relationship but this guy has some kind of invisible hold on me. Well how do i deal with his daughter now? I have had to do that many times too because her mom wants her to hate me or she would hit her and now she acts like her mom with her hatred. Her mom used to hit her if she thought she liked me after being with us for the weekend, but now she is older and its different. He says i should text her and start talking to her. I do not know what to say to her because really the whole thing is not her business. I do not think the kids should be involved in our issues. She always asks inappropriate questions and i have dealt with her many problems. How do I start? Should I apologize? I do not know what to say to this girl who acts like she hates me now. She has always been very spoiled and many times she is only nice if she wants something, she is even like that to her father! Nice if she wants something....

honestly your relationship sounds like a bad cycle....It sounds draining. I guess sit with the BF and discuss what to do with his daughter.I would not be with a person if my main reasoning is he has a hold on me that sounds more like control and no matter what he seems to think he can get you back. I have never really dated others with kids but I know I did not always get along with my kids dads fam and often just had him deal with them and discuss things through him. I just don't think its good for kids to see a man treating there mom not great and going through back and fourth of breaking up.

deep inside I know you are right about this relationship. I try so hard not to let him sneak back into my heart. I feel so weak. I am beginning to think he somehow thrives on the breaking up and getting back together thing in some twisted way because he will be real good to me in the beginning and then it always ends up the same later on. I told him many times this not only hurts us but everyone else involved in our lives especially the kids. Today because his daughter had an attitude and wanted to go home to her moms he is over there all day and here I sit waiting for him to return. I have no life anymore. It ended up revolving around him. I blame myself for falling into the cycle over and over and not being strong enough. If he does show up tonight I will try to talk to him. When my son was the problem I handled it and I think he should handle his daughter. I have a headache, wonder why!
