Warning Signs!!!

Thought that it might be fun ( maybe a little theraputic) to get a discussion going about the warning signs that might should have clued us into the fact that our marriages were doomed! I would like to keep in on the lighthearted side!

Here is one of mine...

Married for 2 months and I had just gotten home with groceries and got called back out to work. I asked my now ex to please out the groceries away. I cam home and he had put the groceries away..STILL IN THE BAGS!!!!!

Ahh, as I recall, it should have been the tiny, little, tailored white shirt I found in the basement mingled in with his laundry...

Not one warning sign here! Never saw it coming, thought all was better that fine. P.S. I have always cleaned our house including the toilets..LOL

All of a sudden, she started buying new clothes, working extra on the weekends so she could get days off during the week, she joined a gym and started buying sexy lingerie. Not that I ever got to see her wear them, she said she bought it to feel better about herself. I guess it had nothing to do with the guy I caught driving with shortly there after.

He liked to leave the cabinet doors open; guess he was hoping to cash out a life insurance police if I had busted my head open. :-)

Ok this is good, My Wedding Reception Ex was slow dancing closer than peanut butter and Jelly with the woman who 1 month before told me she'd bed him any chance she could get. He was drunk and in tears by end of night cause he had to leave his kids (like he did at the end of every visitation)

OH and then there was the Honeymoon, when we went scuba diving and he swam off and I was freaking out.

OH and on that HOneymoon couldn't understand why mother-in-law would call... maybe it was the Hurricane that was hitting in Hawaii where we were at.

Oh I could go on and On that was just the first 4 days of marriage.

I got suspicious when she started lying about little things.Then getting defensive about anything I said.
Right there I knew. I started snooping ,paying attention more and BAM! I found out she was having an affair with Mr Magoo.( talk about a hit to the self esteem,)I thought she'd at least trade up.LOL

We should always pay attention to our gut feelings. Last summer, my ex was involved and still is, in triathlon competitions. He would often mention one particular running partner, female of course, and how much she was helping him in his timing and speed. Well, it just didn't sit well.

Two months later, I found the emails. I was mortified but at the same time, congratulated myself in my basic instinct skills!!! So, now it's RUN FORREST RUN!!!!!
