Well, it's been awhile since I was last on here, mainly because we were going to counseling and thought we were trying to work things out. During the past 6 mos. of our separation, we have had to sell the house, both moved to separate addresses. I still don't know where she lives, just that it is close by me. I have been trying to get my head around it, but the bottom line is, there is too much damage on both sides. No innocent victims here, as we have both done our share of hurtful things. I can say that I tried to give it my best effort, but I am not perfect by any means. Just time to call it.

I used to think I would only hold on to the good memories and leave the bad behind. Unfortunately my friends, you can't hold on to one without re-living the other. I do not hate her by any stretch of the imagination, quite the opposite. She is still the woman I fell in love with and all the things that made me fall in love with her are still there. There is just too much other negatives mixed in.

Anyway, between this website and the Divorce Care group I used to go to before we tried counseling, I know that God and my friends will help me through this and come out stronger for it.
