I wonder how many here avoid Facebook !! Well, I sure do. Everytime i feel I am ok with opening FB, I open FB and I see my friends' pictures with a complete family and I am transported to ' woe is me' land. I am happy for them (I repeat this in my head a couple of times, cos I dont want to seem envious even to myself !!). Once I logg our from FB, ofcourse the pictures or somebody's extremely joyous status haunt me for sometime and I start analyzing my life, event by event to understand how did things become the way they did (divorce) and ofcourse, I get angry ( real angry) with Life ! X (
I maintain a "friend" of my STBX so I can snag pics he posts of our girls(that he otherwise wouldn't share with me). I have him blocked from my feed so I don't see his updates.
I will maintain it for my fun(I like the games) and to moniter all of my children.
Funniest part of FB with me is STBX DESPISED my use of it and MySPace. Both of which of my accounts were originally only started in order to moniter the oldest child. He said it was immature, I was trying to be a teenager, blah blah blah
Now he makes upwards of 5+ posts a day to his....LOL. What a hippocrite!!
I say if it hurts you don't use it. Its' not a requirement in life to have. But it's also not the evil of the world either.
I know what you mean, aditi1974. Losing someone sucks. You have my sympathy.

and it pisses me off when people accuse you of looking for them on FB so you can get in thier business and/or claim you are posting negative things about other people/places.
if i dont have your phone number or address... you are not my friends list.
Too many marriages have been brought down by the "old friend" reconnection. Oh btw - the grass isn't greener - you'll find out it's full of fire ants!
