Work on getting to a place where you can create your own new and joyous memories. Focus on that...you'll get much further that way pondering over how others have it better than you. Good luck.
Facebook, like other social networks, is all about getting in touch with others. Luckily for novice users, Facebook has created some simple ways to find your friends using your e-mail address, or the buddy list from your AOL instant messaging account. You can also search by name, or pull up listings based on your computer's address book.
Ha ha thats funny
It's hard not to look, but it's just like no contact. Why look when you know it is just gonna cause you pain.
To see others happy doesn't bother me. I am glad that others aren't going through this and it is nice to see that there are good relationships. I still share good things about my family, just without my stbx.
People will make things seem perfect when they are far, far from it.....
When we were still living together I had a problem with FB. I never posted things about my situation on there because I hadn't removed his family from my friends list, and I hadn't done that yet because he didn't want anyone to know we were splitting until I moved out. Well my ex had his aunt watching my FB page and my mom posted something nasty about the ex, which I gave a non-commital reply to, and I got screamed at for "not defending him" regarding my mom's comment. Yeah, like that is going to happen. So I promptly deleted all of his family from my list, even his cousins who never bothered me and were staying out of it, because I just didn't want the drama.
