The first days are really hard. Share it with us, share your feelings and thoughts with friends and family. Find a counseler if you need that too, especially if you don't have some confidents to vent too.
And cry. Its okay to cry. Or puke. Drink water whenever you can. Try to eat healthy if your stomach will let you. I survived on carrots, strawberries, and watermellon for a week.
I remember feeling sort of numb pain, like there was icewater flowing through my veins
it was an ordeal to feel the ground under my feet I was so detached from life really because my heart was broken, and thats all I could feel
I remember it was the most horrible feeling
I keep telling myself that what she did was so mean, low, foul, etc but the pain is all thats too real. I've tried crying and can't only at some points then I stop myself. I know I made mistakes too which is why I feel like i should be the one apologizing. And my dumb ass sent her a long email yesterday telling her how i felt and I was sorry for my mistakes and i missed her. I just hate the thought of her with someone else. its destroying me. I want to feel better but its so hard.
Welcome to DS and *hugs* to you.
First of all you shouldnt feel so bad about sending the letter. I did the same thing twice I have since then gone NC (no contact) and it helps somewhat.
I spend my days alternating between crying, feeling sorry for things I didnt do, missing him, hating him for betraying me and then back to sadness all over again.
This is normal. And you are going to have to feel this pain out I am afraid. I am going through it too, and there is no magic pill to stop the pain and the roller coaster of emotions.
I suggest you let yourself cry and process the hurt. It gets better each day even if its slightly. My appetite came back after 2 weeks.
Forgive yourself for the letter.
