I moved out about a month ago from my unhealthy marriage. Since then I've been mourning the loss of my regular life. I miss my home and my routine. I started the divorce process and I'm working with my will be ex husband on a parenting plan for our daughter. This has made me an absolute wreck of emotions. The thought of not seeing her 50% of the time kills me inside. I only get 18 years of her living at home and now it's like I'll get 9. Every other weekend I'll be alone without her and just typing those words brings tears to my eyes. I don't want her to grow up and resent me for leaving the marriage. It's a lot of stuff you're going through to process right now, but you and your daughter will be fine and you two will have a great relationship, always!
Take time now to concentrate on taking care of yourself now. Stay strong and keep working on yourself.
I am so proud of you for making the move! Honestly the lifestyle change, even though we live pretty average, is what I fear. I way out the fear versus the unhappiness and I guess the fear must outweigh most of the time.
