Friends til the end Community Group
A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

I've been struggling lately on what to do with my life since I no longer have a caregiver role. I decided to write a list of hobbies and things I like to do as a reminder to myself. I encourage you to create your own list of likes/hobbies/or things you'd like to try.
Here's a few of my things:
Going to the beach
Trying new restaurants
Making lists/planning for the future
Road trips
Thrifting
Handwritten Christmas Cards to old friends
Visiting various parks
5k charity walks
Trying new lattes (since 1998)
Following politics
Shopping/overspending
Keeping my eyes open for "the one" (whether it's a new friend or potential love)

I just am hoping that DS does not go down all weekend again like it has in past. I am going to send another note to the zendesk about continued error codes coming on system and see if someone will be checking the system this weekend.,...

Be careful about following politics and try to also notice or read or watch "the other side." Because that is the only way to find the lies and they all lie.
I had to create new hobbies. I am limited by my chronic pain and OA. Here is my list.
Gardening (this year in the drought has been depressing)
Reading books that are fiction and non fiction and make me think
Walking the 10-15 minutes in the early morning up and down my street, all I can do now
Putting more joy into my house, bright colors of things, and noticing small joys in daily life and anywhere I go
