I have decided I need to leave my husband. He is manipulative and sexually abused me. He is determined to win me back but I just want to leave as soon as possible. We have four kids together ages 4yo, 3yo, and 2yo twins. The oldest will not start school until fall 2019. I need a job but four in daycare will be outrageous. I Want to finish my degree so I can get a decent paying job. I have about 2 years of school left. Trying to move out and accomplish all of this is very overwhelming to me. Is there any way to make this easier?

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.

You can also use this time to make a budget - in the divorce you'll have to write up a list of your current family income and bills so that support payments can be calculated. I hope you're the one handling the family finances, that way you're already aware of much of this stuff. You can google CIS - case information statement - this is the (horrendous IMO) worksheet many courts use to detail a family's finances. You have to fill this or something very similar out eventually.
He doesn't know of your intentions, I hope?
I’ve told him I want to separate but he’s determined to win me back and doesn’t know I’m doing so much planning and researching.
He does mainly handle the finances unfortunately but I do have a list of income and bills and I’m working on gathering more info.
If your husband is a rich man, you can file for divorce, alimony and child support.
If your husband is so manipulative and abusive how did you end up having 4 kids?
