OT--Plane Crash in the Hudson

Are you guys catching the news about the plane that just crashed into the Hudson River. A descent sized air plane hit a flock of geese and the engines both died. THe pilot was able to get the plane landed into the Hudson River and kept the plane in tact. Boats got out to the plane and got everyone off of the plane.

Emergency crews did an amazing job getting the people off of the plane and the pilot did an amazing job to make this emergency landing!

that is so awesome. I hate that it happened. but that is just so freakin cool. kudos to them all!

Yes, an amazing job was done by the pilot who was revealed recently. He did a remarkable job and will always be remembered as a heroe. He made sure that everyone was out of the airplane before he exited.

I've been watching this tonight. Thank God everyone is fine. That captain of the plane was great. I don't understand why they don't put some kind of metal/wire on the outside so the birds can't get sucked into the engines.

It is nice to hear that they are giving the pilot due credit on his heroic act. He did an amazing job!!!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
