OT - Barbie question

I would typically ask my wife a question such as this, but since she hates me I thought I'd post the question here instead...
I looked in the bathroom tonight and saw about ten of my daughters Barbie and Ken dolls, sitting in the sink...they were all naked.
Why are all the Barbie and Ken dolls naked?

For some unknown reason, my sisters Barbies all had dart holes in them.... I have no idea how that ever happened.

Or there's the deep psychological answer.

Children tend to translate nudity to freedom, and in that projecting their lack of freedom to the doll, thereby living vicariously through the dolls.

Yah okay, I couldn't keep a straight face typing that.

Don't know if anyone said this or not but Barbies are very easy to get undressed but hard as heck to get those tight clothes on! I really don't know if my ten year old can do it herself yet because she stopped playing with them years ago. All those sets of extra Barbie clothes gone to waste.....no wonder they were so cheap :)
