OT - Barbie question

I would typically ask my wife a question such as this, but since she hates me I thought I'd post the question here instead...
I looked in the bathroom tonight and saw about ten of my daughters Barbie and Ken dolls, sitting in the sink...they were all naked.
Why are all the Barbie and Ken dolls naked?

I beheaded Barbies too. I cut their hair first. Then the beheading occurred. Dismemberment was not out of the question either. So, when I tell people I can go medieval on heir bum, I mean it...

The truth is I found dolls boring.

I used to worry about my princess for the first few years, she would ONLY play with her barbies after she ripped their heads off, and they were ALWAYS naked.

Seriously, kids are just wierd. If you asked them why they aren't wearing clothes, they will come up with a completely rational response and give it to you, looking at you as though you are completely done up on crack for asking why.

Hot tub Barbie! Were there little bottles of beer lying around too?

I didn't do Barbie's. They were all blonde and I hated that they didn't look like me. I had black baby dolls.

My Barbies dated. Marie Osmond Barbie had like three Kens and a Donny... I don't think I realized that he was her brother.. That is more disturbing than the naked Barbies, lol.

Oh - and as an aside? After a few months of dirty little grimy girlie hands playing with barbie she tends to get a bit grubby.

I'm guessing it was just time to scrub them up coz they were getting ratty.

I chopped the top of my left index finger off with a chisel when I was making firewood for barbie when she was going camping.

They stitched it back on.

Barbie didn't camp anymore.

I did not grow up with Barbies..not sure why. I had a Bewitched doll...Anyway, I was not going to have Barbie's for my girls. Some principle I wanted to promote..LOL Oh the foolishness of youth. But grandma bought my daughter her first one, by my fourth daughter we have Barbies by the millions. They have multiplied like rabbits. They are all naked now in a box in the closet..So next time I get them out for a grandchild there will be even more. The cross breeding with the Bratz dolls and GI Joes, is a bit scary....
