OT - Barbie question

I would typically ask my wife a question such as this, but since she hates me I thought I'd post the question here instead...
I looked in the bathroom tonight and saw about ten of my daughters Barbie and Ken dolls, sitting in the sink...they were all naked.
Why are all the Barbie and Ken dolls naked?

it's a developmental thing. kids learn about everything through play. that includes acting out roles- even sex ones. most likely she doesn't know the pertinent details but knows it has to do with kissing and no clothes.

little ones do strange things with barbies. i found one naked in my freezer lol. i asked her why and discovered this one had a design on her skin that only showed up when she was cold. sometimes we just have to laugh.

Nobody ever responds seriously to my threads, so it's refreshing to see it...
I just don't know why they all had to be naked. My daughters are only five and six years old.
p.s. - ken doesn't really have a penis or anything...just a lump in the groin area...he looks gay, too...wtf?

Well, my Barbies got torn limb-from-limb, beheaded and marked up with a whole lot of magic marker and crayon type stuff. I think your Barbies are doing just fine. No worries.

:) it's still a child developmental thing. I am too lazy to look for a link, but if you google piaget, that'll help tons. Might be difficult to find an excerpt without having to read a whole book though.
