Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. I have been in love twice, once with a person who did not love me the same way, the other with someone where we were both crazy about each other but seemed to argue a lot.
Somewhere along the lines someone might just love me like I love them, with no arguments and with life being simple. That's what I hope for and hopefully in 2012 it will happen.
I will not allow fear of being hurt again dictate how I live my life. Fear is a horrible task master. I am in charge of my own destiny ... not fear. I did not go out and find the right person to marry ... I BECAME the right person to marry. I work on myself continuously to be a better person. I am FAR from perfect and have a lot to do to be the type of person that I want to be. Sharing my life with someone else is my choice and is how I want to live my life.
My kids are young, and I would love to find someone who values family like I do, who wants to co-parent my kids, the way I want to co-parent their kids. Share those playful memories with a smile. Not scared to take a risk in making new memories, traveling well into old age, meet new people, try new activities, as long as we're both physically healthy!
I believe I can find that, as I've seen others my age (divorced, with more kids) do the same! I believe there are many wonderful people, who did not want to be divorced (like me) who want similar things, share similar goals as me!
Today I am married to another wonderful man. We work at it hard to not repeat the same mistakes we made in our previous mariages..
I just need to raise my children first so they would never be subjected to another clusterfuck. :)
from the ideal institution of society and religion
to just a mare contract between 2 people for the sake of the children
it has nothing to do with love, commitment nor will it predict the outcome of the relationship.
since my children are now 16 and older and my "role" in society as a mother is completed, i won't ever "commit" to marriage again.....
My answer is hell no!!!!!!! but than again who knows what the future will hold ,just because one man destroyed my hopes and dreams doesnt mean another would or will.
