I am struggling with something similar. My ex cheated on me after 2 years of marriage and a son. I have met the most incredibly amazing man who went through the same thing as me. Luckily they weren't quite married yet but he had a house he bought and it all got flushed down the toilet. We both admit we are very damaged individuals but find comfort and support in knowing that the other went through a similar experience. We both have small children and don't want our children to get hurt either. We have agreed to move in together and I am both excited and anxious. My family and most of my friends are extremely against this. :( I feel like life is all about taking chances. Do what makes you happy.

I just had dinner with a dear friend whose husband died in her arms 2 months ago, after 51 years of marriage. I believe in love, and it's always reinforced in seeing others' lives, but not mine.

I like (or should I say liked) being married...I just want to be married to someone I can both love and trust and who is willing to go the distance and work on it as much as me...sigh...I never in a million years thought I would be where I am today...but...I still have a dream that there is a person out there I will trust and who will not hurt me ;) yes I say..for the right person...despite all the possibility of pain there is also the possibility of bliss :)
