Although I have not talked to my serial cheater of a husband in a month, I obsess daily about what horrible things I want to say to him.. I imagine him with the OW, and cause myself so much anxiety that I want to pick up the phone and let him know how much I hate him and all the bad things I want to happen to him.. I dont want to let this have so much power over me.. This negative energy is building up and I feel like I'm going to explode. I have tried writing down what I feel but it doesnt do much for me. I want the satisfaction of taking out my anger on him. I also dont want to let him know I'm wasting so much time thinking about him... Any advice? How do I get him out of my head?

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
One thing I did was stay really busy. My house was never cleaner than during those first few months of separation. When the anger would start to take over, I'd find something to clean.
Continue to use the journal here (or a private one at home). Writing can be very therapeutic. But whatever you do, DO NOT CONTACT HIM. You will be wasting your breath and will only feel worse.
Eventually, when you are ready, you will let go of the anger. I invite you to read my journals--I leave them open for everyone. I've several about anger with my ex and my most recent one is about finally letting the anger go.
Sending big hugs.
And I think it's great that you got that shoe organizer.
Or maybe hockey? Some kind of sport where you have to hit something. But I don't think golf, at least not right now.
the first 3 months after D day i took long morning walks by the beach where I said my "speeches" out loud of what I would say in court to him or about him (I had NO clue how different court would really be).
Then, at night, I stood in front of a mirror and recited my speech again, dramatizing and gesturing with all my heart, my fingers, my soul....
somehow that helped me a lot.....I still remember my perfect speech word by word....try it!
